Plush Factory Shop is the responsible party for the personal information collected through this website and our order channels. We are based at Unit 1, Haji Ebrahim Crescent, Rylands Estate, Cape Town. This policy explains how we handle your information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
2. What we collect
- Contact details you give us: name, business name, phone/WhatsApp number, email, delivery address.
- Order details: products, quantities, pricing and delivery instructions.
- Communication history when you WhatsApp, email or call us.
- Basic website analytics (pages visited, device type) — no personally identifying tracking.
3. How we use it
We use your information to quote, process and deliver your orders, to answer your questions, to arrange returns and payments, and — if you have opted in — to let you know about specials. We do not sell your data to anyone.
4. Who we share it with
Only with service providers we need to run our business: our delivery drivers, our accounting software, our email/WhatsApp provider, and payment processors. Each is bound to keep your information confidential and use it only for the service we've engaged them for.
5. How long we keep it
We keep order and invoice records for at least 5 years to meet tax and accounting requirements. Marketing contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.
6. Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and you can unsubscribe from marketing at any time. Email orders@plushfactory.co.za and we'll respond within a reasonable time.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No system is 100% secure, but we work with reputable providers and keep access on a need-to-know basis.
8. Cookies
Our site uses minimal cookies for basic functionality and anonymous analytics. You can block cookies in your browser without losing access to the site.
